Level 3 Integration
From WikiDocs
Level 3 Integration could be renamed "Editor-level Integration" because essentially that's what it is. You enable your editor to speak to the MOG Server to obtain asset status information and data processing requests. Editors are also used to import assets into MOG.
Any engine with a proprietary editor will find this level integration very helpful for automating the workflow of their artists when submitting new assets into the game or modifying and existing asset already present in the editor.
In addition, MOG integration can also expose other useful features for enhancing safer working habits in a complex team environment. For example, the editor can automatically lock assets in mog whenever an artist begins working with that object preventing other team members from accidentally performing work in the same package, map, level or object.
Editor level integration is very close to Level 4 Integration except it is limited to just the editor or proprietary engine tool.
Requirements
In order to achieve Level 3 Integration between your editor and MOG, you need to have access to the source code of your editor and the ability to compile that code into a new executable version of your editor.
