Engine Integration Overview

MOG can be used in several different ways, depending on the needs of your project. The details of exactly how it is used will always vary from project to project, but the usage of MOG can generally be broken down into 4 main categories. We call these levels of integration, because it describes how deeply MOG is integrated into the data path of your project.
Levels of Integration
- Level 1 Integration - Data Management: Manage electronic assets as files outside of packages.
- Level 2 Integration - Packaging and Ripping: MOG automates ripping and packaging of data.
- Level 3 Integration - Communication: Editor becomes "MOG-aware" and asset updates become automated.
- Level 4 Integration - Realtime: MOG ties directly into the game engine, allowing realtime updating of assets.
